The Start of the Alumni Foundation
We acknowledge and sincerely appreciate the time and contributions of the following dedicated alumni, Peter Taiwo Olosunde, Dr. Oliver O. Anam, Adetokunbo Atitebi-John, Tolani Savage, Daniel Ajegba, Olaseni Fuwa, Edmund Nosegbe, Dr. Bitrus Gwamna, Adeyemo Sodipo, Tony Munis and Tony Ohai; who collectively organized the first ever Gregorian Reunion in Miami, Florida in summer of 2006 that laid the framework which culminated to the eventual formation of St. Gregory's College Alumni Foundation Inc.
With its unique and innovative organizational structure, St. Gregory's College Alumni Foundation Inc. is today being managed by a dedicated team of alumni volunteers who are primarily focused on bridging the generations of Gregorians and fostering academic excellence at the alma mater.
Unlike many other organizations, St. Gregory's College Alumni Foundation, Inc. does not have any membership or annual dues requirement; it is open to all Gregorian Alumni and it is entirely run by a dedicated team of volunteers. We operate as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, and are therefore able to leverage tax-deductible contributions and sponsorships, to create an effective support system for providing scholarship assistance and improving the overall academic experience for the students and faculty staff at St. Gregory's College, Lagos.
St. Gregory's College Alimni Foundation Inc. is a self-managed, self-administered charitable corporation focused on supporting and fostering the development of educational excellence in Arts, Science & Technology and Recreational Sports, primarily in St. Gregory's College, Lagos. In order to accomplish these objectives through our various programs, we collaborate with the institution's stakeholders; the Proprietor - Archbishop, Anthony Cardinal Okogie; the College Administrator - Rev. Fr. Edmund Akpala; St. Gregory's College Board of Governors, the Old Students' Association and the PTA to articulate their specific needs and interests.
