One of St. Gregory’s College Alumni Foundation, Inc’s highest priorities is to collaborate with the Proprietor (His Holy Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Okogie), the School Administrator, St. Gregory’s College Old Students’ Association, the Faculty, Staff, Students and our Alumni Partners to ensure that our programs are designed to meet the overwhelming demands of today’s universal academic standards. Academic scholarship is the cornerstone of our Foundation’s MISSION and the Scholarship Board is spearheaded by volunteers and dedicated veterans of St. Gregory’s College.
All our programs and projects are designed to help improve the educational quality and standards for the students of St. Gregory’s College. Particularly by empowering and providing them with the OPPORTUNITY to become the leaders of tomorrow in their respective chosen careers and communities.
Our number one priority is to seek and identify needy students and support them to achieve academic success. Other features of the scholarship program and projects include:
To maintain utmost integrity and transparency in our undertakings including the scholarship program. Integration of our programs into the St. Gregory’s College Curriculum and academic system through collaboration.
Ensure that the Classes, School Library, Science Laboratories, Music Hall, Sports and Recreational Facilities are well equipped with up-to-date and necessary educational materials that will continue to provide optimal environment for learning.
Provide an oversight to the scholarship program through periodic reviews and reports on each scholarship recipient showing the student’s progress and achievements.
Ensure that the teachers are equally committed and dedicated to the students’ success by providing them with the best possible opportunity to learn in a safe, fun, and enriching atmosphere.
Our Project Committee/Team is responsible for the Planning and Implementation of projects and SPECIFIC GOALS. It oversees, coordinates and meets the deliverables on all the tasks necessary to complete any given assignment.
